During your apartment, use fixtures that are light colored to make the rooms look bigger. Dark colors make a location recede; lighter shades aesthetically increase space. Consider light sand, pastel peach, butter yellow and other light hues for upholstery, accent rugs and curtains. You can add additional splashes of color with highlight cushions and throws.
When designing small rooms, you should always keep muddle to the very least. Display just a few colorful accents and accessories to include depth and interest. In the living room, an individual large vase filled up with fresh flowers, a huge candle and a single printing or painting on one wall are all you need to add color while keeping the region available and spacious.
Any room appears larger when it is filled with natural light. Most apartments come supplied with mini window blinds, but if you need to make the room look bigger there's a simple trick that truly makes windows look larger. Hang a curtain rod that is about twice the width of the windows; use light or colorful sheers that are drawn back to both sides. You may want to hang the rod near the roof to give the impression of the tall screen as well.
